| I have 33k on my 2005. Love it! Probably one of the most comfortable and reliable machines on the market today. I like the low center of gravity as it makes it easy to balance and ride at all speeds. |

| After installing the new belt and 24 grams sliders ,I took it for a ride ,it was very quick but at 100 klph ,the rpm was at 6500 ,not 4500 + .I made a boo boo installing the slider, went home and looked at some posting and found the problem . Had to remove the trike kit and reposition Dr Pulley sliders.Getting good at this ,took me lest then 1 1/2 hours to do the job.I came up with an ease way to lift the scooter ,I screwed 2 hooks to the ceiling joyce 18" apart ,and 2 ratchet straps on each hand rail hoited the scoot 4" of the ground to remove the trike.Motorcycle jacks don,t work well on swing. |

| I'm very pleased with the results of the Dr. Pulley 28g sliders and the new belt in my SW. Dropped 500rpm on the highway due mostly to the new belt's wider width. The old belt had almost 20,000 miles on it. It could probably have gone another 5k but since I was into the sliders I changed the belt too. |

| I change the belt at 21k miles ,There was only 1 millimetre less then the new OEM belt.I will keep it as a spare and the roller weight were still good. I like the 24 grams sliders ,It seems smother and a little faster on take off accelerating to 100 klph The rpm did dropped some not 500 rpm . Don't know if I am getting better mpg yet, Cold weather affect's fuel mpg. |

| I put 26 gram sliders in my scoot last night as well as a new drive belt. I had 18,600 miles on the original belt and it looked to be in good shape but I replaced it anyway and will keep the old one as a spare.
My question here is to others who have installed Dr Pulley sliders. Has it affected your gas mileage any? The sliders gave me a lot more "bottom end" and I suspect that I'll end up with lower MPG because of it. |

| Put the 26g sliders in last year and did notice about a 400 rpm drop at 70 mph along with an additional kick when starting out and especially accelerating out of a corner. My mpg hasn't really changed much but probably increased slightly - got pretty close to 55 mph on a 3 day group trip this summer with some freeway but more back road riding. Currently have 19.7k on my 2002 SW and probably about 3k on the 26g sliders.

| I finally filled up yesterday and was at about the same MPG as normal in town driving. 51.3MPG. I need to get out and do a couple tanks out on country back roads at 55MPH and see how it fares there. Usually I can get in the upper 50's or low 60's depending on the gas I use. So far I'm impressed with the Dr Pulley sliders. |

| I am about to fit some 28g Dr.Pulley sliders and have bought a new drive belt to fit at the same time -if need be .The scoot is '07 with just under 10000 miles on it but that makes it coming up for 7 years old .However will only change it after I have a look .Perhaps keep it as a spare .The question is that elsewhere I have noticed that some instructions for installation stress that the belt must be fitted with the arrows pointing in the direction of rotation. The "Gates" belt I purchased has no such indicators. Does this mean that either direction is OK or am I missing something ? |

| I have had my '07 silverwing for just over 3 years. When i got it it had 1,380mls on it. At 16,000mls i fitted a Gates drive belt ( I just put it on). At 32,000mls i fitted another Gates belt, again no problem with direction of belt. I have had no belt problems. Enjoy your swing and relax it will serve you well if you just maintain it as required in the instruction book. I fitted 24g Dr Pulley sliders at 24,000mls. |
