Clear cover

My wife rides with me quite often wearing various footwear. Im always cautious of her shoes (zippers, buckles) scratching the black panel at the pegs. It would be nice to have a sacrificial clear adhesive strip on the panel just at the pegs to avoid this. Is there such a thing?? Riding barefoot is not an option ( the bike anyways )

Honda market a clear film by 3M under the part no. 08P73KBV00, at least they do in the UK. It's good stuff and very tough and sticky !

Thanks. I had a brain lapse. If its not on ebay it doesnt exist! A lot of choices for clear vinyl protector!

I'd treat wifey to a pair of ladies motorcycle boots with covered zips and Velcro calf adjustment for 2013.

Hopefully a few riding days yet! However the colder days n nights are arriving. My friends motto - "if it aint snowin, then the bike's goin", but thats not me. I do recall a few years ago one january it got weirdly warm for a day so i quickly reinstalled my bike battery ( harley sportster ) and went for a ride.
