Information Request: RE Used Silverwings

I had my mechanic look at my Silverwing to see what it would take to get it running.
At a minimum its new forks, new tank and new fuel pump.
We may find more problems as we move forward.

Thinking of buying a used Silverwing and transferring ad-ons.
Want to spend under 3000 for a working Silverwing, 2003-2004 okay, but newer won't be turned down.

I did a lot of experimenting with items on my wing. Pioneered alot of things.
But I'm thinking starting with a stock wing now and only moving over what works.

Anyway, I request that those of you in the USA, especially the southeast, simply keep an eye out for a great deal on a Silverwing and send any information my way.
Yes I am keeping my eye on ebay too.

Hope you find a great deal on a new-to-you Silverwing. You might find using "Search Tempest" which scans Craigs Lists to be helpful in your search.

There is a 05 on kijiji ontario with 50 KL on it for $2900. I seen it for less a few month ago might be worth looking into it.

Check the for sale section here. SIWALT had a 2007 ABS for $3400. I don't know if it's available. The problem: It's located in Statin Island, NY.

I am in Miami, FL.
That is a good price, but the headache necessary to bring it into the USA, I don't want. Add to that the flight up to inspect, and the drive back... Not worth the Hassle,

First Place I looked. It will cost me about $170 to fly into Newark. Even if I inspect and like the bike. Then its a 1300 mile 21 hour drive. At least one night's hotel stay ($100), and $130 in gas. So $400 over and above the cost of the bike. I also sent a PM to jfg9836.
