Find your oil filter, and follow it.

Oil filter dirty....clogged up good
pressure build up......can't get oot
pressure build up lifts the valve....spring compressess
oil gets out..... engine lives on
Valve gets stuck......engine KA-BOOM!

So that explains that little bit of oil drops and the oil splatter in front of engine that most likely dribble down and under the engine?

nope. that may be a cam cover gasket........or head gasket leak
I'd go looking...... the source of this evil.

The real question is your engine leaking oil ?
Do you have to keep adding oil every time you check the oil level ?
If the level is staying the same then you can't have much of a leak if any to
worry about.
