The Metzler Feel Free is also a very good tire.

Hi "JamieB",
I'm not that experienced with tires but I did have my IRC's replaced with the Pirelli Diablo's at around 8300 miles (and the IRC's still looked very good). It seemed to me that the Diablo's made for a much 'smoother' ride than the others. Can't vouch for their "canyon-carving" ability but many on the site have really enjoyed them.
