I had the dealership install a outlet in the left glove compartment. Does anyone know how waterproof that is? So far I'm running my GPS on it but just have the wire leading out of the side of the compartment, it closes tightly but????

I know this goes without saying, unless your GPS is waterproof, it shouldn't be used. Even if it is waterproof, if it is really raining, then it is very difficult to use. Just mho.
