Givi windscreen squeaking

I cut down my Givi wind screen this spring.
After taking off the cowl piece I noticed that the steel reinforcement plates were under the wind shield.
I cut down the screen by 2 in. and reinstalled the screen correctly, including buying three new rubber nuts.
Now when I hit bumps in the road it squeaks.

any suggestions, fixes?

Last Thur. I was getting ready to leave for the weekend and I tightened the screws on the windshield.Well it squeaked bad after that.I had to leave at 6:00 AM so no time to try to figure any thing out.Well I don't know how long it was but I know the squeak was gone some time during the first day.[ 700 Mi.] And did not return on the 1700 Mi.trip.
