Hello From Kansas

Hi,

I’ve been riding motorcycles since I was 17 years old and if my math is correct that was 50 years ago.  I currently own a 2022 BMW C400GT.  I’m picking up today a 2006 Silver Wing with 8,773 miles on it that is not mine but is going to be kept at my home.  My best friend was hit on October 30 on his Burgman 400 while on his way home from a ride we had, the bike was totaled..   He’s still recuperating from the accident but in the meantime he purchased this Silver Wing.  He also bought a Yamaha Majesty which he will ride most of the time.  We will both ride the Silver Wing and I will be doing some updates to the Silver Wing, one of which is a GPS mount.  I’m located in Kansas.

Hello Stephen,sorry about your friend's unfortunate incident; hope he makes a speedy recovery. I cringe every time I hear about accidents by fellow Swingers. I also was involved in a crash back in August that totaled my Silverwing but I luckily was able to walk away with bruises. Hope you guys enjoy the Silverwing as much as I do.
