Hello,
I bought my first Silverwing about two months ago and really am enjoying riding it. It is a '04 model. It has a Givi windshield and a top case.
I have owned motorcycles for almost all my life, but this is the first scooter for me. I had been looking for a scooter for several months and finally decided on the Swing for the reliability factor.
I have the service manual, but I like the personal tidbits that are on the forum.
Thanks for the info. Hugo

Welcome to the forum Hugo. I'm sure you'll find the Silverwing a satisfying ride. You say that you have the Service Manual which indicates that you are a DIYer.

There is a mine of information and insight into the Silverwing right here. The search bar above will guide you but feel free to ask anything. There's usually somebody kicking around in here who will have the answers or suggestions.

Enjoy your new ride. welcome

Welcome from the US! I think with time, you’ll find the Silverwing pretty easy to work on- I never owned a scooter before this one and I’ve done a fair number of mechanical jobs on it- pretty straightforward.

Welcome Hugo! In addition to the above suggestions, check out the pictorials on the forum. I have learned how to do most jobs through them. In fact usually they are easier to use than the manual!

Hi Hugof and welcome to the Forum.

You neglected to say what colour your Silverwing is and how far it has travelled. Helps us to know in case of problems or maintenance periods.

Unfortunately there's "no fix" for the cheesy grin, riding a Silverwing gives you.

Be safe, be seen!

Hello from the SF bay Area.
I have a 2002 Honda Reflex, I used to go on the Reflex forum but it went away ??
It has 15,000 miles on it and I have owned it for about  18 years, so far it has been great, however
now I have a problem with the brakes.
I will put A post with the problems in the proper topic.
Phil.

Hi Hugo and Welcome to the BEST SWing forum on the net.
I have an 08 SWing with just over 38,000 miles on it. I had a Motor Trike kit put on in 2018 and have no regrets. It took a little getting used to but now I love it. I might get a couple more days riding it this coming week. They are talking 60 degrees for a couple days. That will be nice because as I get older the weather has to be warmer for me to enjoy riding.
