Just bought my first step through a 2007 Silver Wing 600 in lovely gloss black. Only 5000 miles on the clock so looks and rides like new. Biggest problem so far is grabbing the ‘clutch’ at the first junction only to come to an emergency stop. But with stiff hips and knees getting on and off is already a joy. Still got the 1200 Bandit for long trips but already think the Wing will rack up plenty of miles.

Hi steve and Welcome to the Forum, for all things Silverwing and a bit more besides.

Make friends with the search bar to access the wealth of Knowledge contained within these hallowed walls. Key words are your friends there.
Or simply post your question or topic.

One could extoll the Swings virtues, twist and go, underseat cave, but its so much nicer to find out for yourself. Don't be surprised if the smile becomes permanent.

Welcome Steve! As to the "clutch" emergency stop, most of us have done that at least once! I found that once I got used to the scooter, I could switch between bikes (manual or CVT) without issue. Even between 2 wheelers and a trike!
