I'm new to the site, but you've already been helpful while I'm looking for info about Silver Wings. I'm actually new to motorcycles in general and have become taken with the Silver Wing. I'm hoping that I'll be able to get ahold of one soon. If/when that happens, I'll be relying on your help, so thanks in advance.

Welcome 95konig to the BEST SWing forum on the net. I hung around here for almost a year getting info on the SWing. I've ridden motorcycles for years but wasn't sure about a scooter. Would it be road worthy? How fast would it go? Are they reliable? ETC. ETC. Once I got it home and running and took it out for her first ride I was hooked. I rode it around town for about a half hour until I got used to cornering and stopping and going. Then I took it out on the highway and WOW!

I bought my 2008 SWing in 2014 from my sister in FL It sat under a tarp for about 2 years. I trailered it home to MN and did a bunch of TLC on it to get it running and road worthy.

I had a Motor Trike kit put on it in January of 2018 and have no regrets. It cost about $8,000 total to have Motor Trike make it and ship it to an authorised dealer to install it. It took a bit to get used to it but now I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love it !!
