Mohamadb, I have had 3 Silverwings and my US MPG is 38 to 42 US MPG. That should be 5.88 Liters per 100 km. Search this Forum for solutions. Check the easy things first Air Filter, Plugs and fuel line leak. If the engine is running smoothly and good Excelleration most likely your leaking fuel.

Firstly, lets get so more info from you Mohamadb.
You told us it's a 2002 but how many Klms has it covered will give us some idea how worn the engine is.
Living where you do any fuel leak will be hard to find due to your climate/heat/evaporation but does the bike "stink" of fuel even when not running.
Also does the engine oil "stink" of fuel too.
Those points aside I think it's time to start removing the panels on the bike. I would start by removing the lower body panels to look for possible fuel run stains or drips on the lowest parts (Youtube is your friend there) there are videos to show you the correct way to remove all panels without damage.
I see no point in listing possible answers or repairs until you have actually started to strip the bike and report back to us what you find and also the milage/Klms on the engine.

Be safe, be seen!

Ps. There is a known issue with the fuel tank rotting out with rust on the front lower corners behind the rubber shrouds that cover the tank which can only be seen by removing the underside plastic tray and L/R bottom panels allowing you to look behind the rubber shrouds. Also the return fuel pipe can crack where it joins the tank(metal pipe the rubber pipe is pushed onto)

Happy hunting fella.

Can you smell fuel?
Can you smell it when it's been sitting for some time or after it has been running?
Is it obviously down on power?

Are the plugs clean or dirty? If they're not madly sooty, look for a fuel leak. 4l/32km is 20 miles/usg. If the plugs are filthy, you probably have a fuel injection problem.

That sounds like you should first check around the fuel tank for a leak.

When you switch the bike on, does it make the 'whirr' sound for long? Does it start quickly?
