Silverwing Body Repair Parts Availability?

Hi,
I've been on this forum for some time and enjoy reading everyone's posts and topics. In the past everyone has been a great help in changing belts, modifying weights, etc. I continue to be very happy with my 2002 Swing (7800 miles). I used to purchase body parts from cheapcycleparts.com but I'm afraid they went out of business. They were great in that they had almost every original Honda part for the scooter. For example, I had to replace the rear panel after I accidentally backed into my trailer bumper in the driveway..the engine wasn't even on...lol.

I have a small crack on the right side of the underpanel but my 1st priority is that the little latch on the right-side glovebox is broken so the box won't close.

Would anyone know where to get these type of "body parts" for the Swing??? (Preferably in the U.S. for shipping costs)

Try babbittsonline.com. It’s a Honda MC dealer that has body parts- I’ve purchased several parts from the site but I recall shipping being a little high.

I got a lot of parts from Ron Ayers, including body panels, etc. Best prices overall and customer service, place a big order over $129 and get free shipping, Nowdays is probably the best to contact them by email and check availability/backorder time.

A BIG thank you to you guys! These sites have even more parts than the old site I used....every nut and screw! My 2002 is 20 years old this year (only 7800 miles)...and now I can keep it running good "forever"... ;-). I also have a Goldwing but I find myself riding the Swing almost all the time...quick, nimble & fun and plenty of power. Thanks again!

I've been browsing lots of sites including ebay because my SW is 2001. It's good to know that you could build a SW from scratch with all the stuff out there

There's a breaker with a sense of humor who parks an old hearse outside his yard in Milltownpass with a sign in the back saying "Used body parts for sale". I must stop and take a photograph the next time I pass.
