| Stumbled onto this the other day while doing a lazy/time killing search on Craiglist, 2014 with 5k miles, literally owned by an older lady, A/C garage kept and covered, never been in the rain, just slightly dusty, purchased NOS in 2016, nearly showroom perfect, sat unused for 6 months due to health reasons, came with new battery, idle was a little rough and cvt not smooth, counter offered and took it home cheap($500 below asking) with motorcycle jack, covers, etc., etc. Literally they just wanted to make room for husbands new HD !!. They showed me receipts for 2 oil changes and new battery. Took home drained fuel tank, filled with 93 non-ethanol and 4oz of sea-foam fuel treatment, cleaned and lube CVT components, oil change, replaced air filter and cvt filter foam, etc., etc., otherwise bike is like new. This engine has 12.5:1 compression, IMO 91 or better should be used, the newer(2017+) version has 10.6:1 to comply with emissions and less power. Started and let idle for 20 minutes, idle became stable after 5 min., fan cycled, etc. test rode, bike is very smooth and handles well, very slight vibration from the single at idle, everything works perfectly. Hit 90mph easily, Very freaking happy just a little concerned about tires age, but they are not even sun stained Will try some pics |

| Sounds like a great deal the Burgie 400 is a great scoot. Keep a close eye on the tires though. They are at the end of their lifespan and tend to deteriorate quickly. My 2015 Forza tires were great last fall; this spring they developed age cracks big time. Both replaced now. |

| That's a real nice looking scoot there. The seat looks kinda low so I was wondering about long ride comfort.Believe you also got a Givi windshield ...enjoy your new ride |

Thanks, trying to get it squared away for the wife, planning on a long trip in early fall, initially to Charleston, SC and back around the long way to Deals Gap, The Dragon, etc. My SW is getting little attention lately, but rain has neen fierce around here lately also. Working on tire change on B400, waiting on the 90deg. valve stems, straight ones are a pain. WKYP |

| Tires change done, the B400 uses same tire size as SW600, shinko's 567/568 are on both now, old tires where literally cut off, overall very easy, but lots of labor involved for a DIY project. Zip tie technique worked great. Rides awesome, really like how these tires handle well and very smooth on rough patches |

| Lots of labor. I did many a dirt bike tire but those are much easier and side walls not so stiff but tube type don't pinch it. My buddie has a car type machine that's the only way I would even try it. How did you break the beads? Cut off tires with what?
Damm dealers around here want $50 bucks to mount a tire 10 minute job with a machine. BS.
Good job ride on. |

| $50 (£36) is bloody outrageous for installing a tyre to a loose wheel. Mind you it's a bargain if that included removing and replacing the wheel I paid £60 ($83) for a rear tyre and fitting to a loose wheel which I didn't think was too bad. |

| " I couldn't help notice your wife's wearing an Olympia Moto Sports Jacket. I'm a fan of their clothing, I have an Olympia Moto Sports Nova Hi-Viz vest in neon red. " This is a "BILT" jacket, from "Cycle Gear" (https://www.cyclegear.com/) house brand here in the US, very likely a chinese copy of Olympia as they are basically out of bussiness here and CG clones a lot of major brands in the "BILT" products line, I think they are excellent for price point. " How did you break the beads? Cut off tires with what? " 1st let me say this, the process for DIY tires is labor intensive, requires some mechanical knowledge(as you can do a lot of damage to man or machine !!) and some of my methods are dangerous, TAYOR, use protective gear !! Anyway, I break the bead with big "C" clamp(s), you clamp/collapse sidewall until bead separates, you can clamp tire directly and/or use a flat pieces of wood, either way providea way to prevent rim damage/scratches, rags, plastic sheets/tubing, etc. Once the bead is broken, "CAREFULLY" cut a section of tire with a "Real Sharp" box cutter(Stanley 99), a dull blade is very bad, score and cut slowly, cut as close to bead wire as possible, then cut bead wire(s) with wire cutter, again protect wheel, etc. Done !! I'll attach pics ... |
