| greetings swingers.. ive been away from the forum since 2019... still have my 2012 and my 2013 silverwings but i purchased a 2018 goldwing in 2019. put 32K miles on my goldie before totaling her back in march. 35mph curve trying to keep up with the BMW guys. my only injury was a HUGE bruise on my forearm. repair estimate was $55k (bought it for $22k) i waited for several months before climbing back in the saddle. nervous as heck last friday but i managed to put 70 miles on my 2013 silvie. first corner i was covering the rear brake handle like crazy LOL
decided to pull one silverwing with my car for summer trips. did 5k miles/9 states on goldwing last august. terrible heat .. need my cars a/c!
planning to ride glacier national park in either august or sept.

| Glad you were not hurt any worse. Sounds like a major get-off! Enjoy your scooters and Glacier, it is a very pretty park and will make a good ride, just watch your speed lots of BIG critters around there. |

| Hello again JBB.
Wait, you’re going to ride to GNP or tow & ride? GNP is at the top of my bucket list as is Hyder (just for the brag’n rights), but age seems to be catching up with me. I’ve got it all figured out how to ride there but the gotcha is that then I’ve gotta ride all the way back. |

Let me know Tim, perhaps we could meet somewhere along the way and do an "old farts ride" to Glacier? |

Gonna use my single axle Ace trailer behind my Honda Fit. Take the tent and all but have the option of sleeping in the car with some modifications. Figure short rides on the silverwing will scratch that itch to ride. |
