New old silverwing

Hey all,

I picked up a 2008 wing recently with ~67k miles. It also came with a ton of bad custom electrical work but appears to be otherwise taken care of. Ended up having years of late registration fees which made what was a maybe okay deal into a pretty expensive bike...

Really fun so far, and runs great. I've replaced the engine+drive oil (both looked new), the rubberband (VTI light came on, and who knows when it was changed), and vacuum bled the brakes. The front (right side brake) is awful still, but i'll start a separate thread on that.

Overall I like it a lot for what it is, but I'm thinking about adding a KTM Adventure 390 to the stable in the Fall.

Late registration Fees what the hell is that?  You just bought it late fees are are the previous owners problem. Must be a California tax thing. There must be a way to check that before buying something otherwise I'd walk away from a good deal.  California huh.
