| Hi all, i'm JC from Andorra (a tiny country between France and Spain). I'm 39 and have owned 4 Silverwings 600 through those last years, and I wish to share my experiences with you I actually have a '04 ABS with 14.000kms only, which has Dr.Pulley sliders, Hyperpro Springs in the fork, YSS rear shocks, KN air filter (as well as modded airbox), and an HID H7 6000k Kit. This is the nicest one i've had, and far better than my previous '01 which had 60.000kms. See you soon in some thread ! |

| Hi JC-AND from Andorra. Welcome to the great Silverwing forum. I'm sure most people never heard of Andorra let alone know where it's located. I bet it's a very scenic country ( with a few Basque shepherds). Enjoy your 2004 Swing along with scenic roads in Andorra. |

| Hello JC-AND. Welcome to the forum.
And to confess my bewilderment as well, I always thought that Andorra was a city in Spain. Thankfully I still do learn something new every day. |

| Welcome JC. I've never got to Andorra yet, the heat drove me back last time I got that far south , although I expect its cooler in the hills. Perhaps I'll get there next time - subject to brexit, covid and whatever other catastrophes are on the horizon |

| Thanks guys Andorra is an extremely tourism focused country (skiing, mtb, shopping...) we are only 80.000 people living in here but we can easily double our population with tourists coming from Spain / France on weekends or "special" holidays like easter for example. Covid is not helping and the andorran economy is in bad shape, frontiers are mainly closed actually... @Steve, don't worry about the heat, apart of some days in july or august it's fresh up here. The minimum altitude is 1000m, reaching up to 2500m for some roads |

| Hello mate, I've been to Andorra a couple of times by motorcycle, the first was way back in 1982 on an East German MZ TS250 Supa 5 two-stroke. I'd toured some of France, and Northern Spain on the way down and headed there as the start of my return route after spending a few days in Barcelona.
In fact I enjoyed Andorra so much I spent longer there than I should have and had to hammer back to the French port of St Malo from Andorra La Vella with only a short overnight stop on the return route.
I returned to Andorra the following year on a BMW R65 going in from the French side. Taking advantage again of the tax free shopping again. I loaded so much Le Creuset cast iron cookware onto the R65 that both wheels were touching the ground when it was on it's main stand. |
