Hello from Florida

Hi everyone. We used to be members of a Honda SilverWing forum many years ago but for some reason haven't kept up with it. We converted our wonderful Swing into a trike due to my wife's hip problems, but I hated how it rode so took it off. I'll be riding a bit more now that it's cooler, but my wife, sadly cannot manage the ride any more. Looks like a great bunch of folks, here!

Welcome aboard ... or perhaps back to the board John. There was another Yahoo based Silver Wing group but it was discontinued a number of years ago. This is definitely the largest Silver Wing dedicated site operating in North America.

I have a 2007 Swing myself and a wife with a bad hip so as we say in New Mexico ( lo siento) which means “my sympathy” I understand how bad it can get. My wife finally had a hip replacement surgery in Denver, Colorado. What keeps me sane is jumping on the back of scooter and driving up to the mountains or along the Rio Grande River. The trees are starting to change colors and I get myself right with the world.

I have two sisters living with me for the past two years. They lived in Milton, FL for the past 30ish years. They just signed papers on a, new to them, house and will be moving in about 45 days. Hopefully for them it doesn't snow until after they get moved in.
