| Just picked up a 06' SW after retiring my 01' GW with 276,xxx miles. At 80 I guess I'm suppose to slow down, but that's no fun.
My biggest problem with the SW was to find the Clutch and the Foot brake . But that's over and I'm back having a great time.
Here in Florida we can ride year round which adds to the enjoyment. But summers are a tad on the steamy side so mom and I pack up the motorhome and head north for several months. This is where the SW shines, being able to load it on the back and take it with us.
So far this group has been my savior for fixing those odd problems, like getting under the seat without a key ! ! |

| Welcome to the Best SWing site on the net rdedrickson. I have an 08 SWing and also had to get used to no clutch or foot brake. I've had mine for about 5 years now and really like it. I had it triked out a couple of years ago and have no regrets.

| Welcome Welcome!
Getting under the seat without the key is a trade secret....sssshhhhhh !
After 3 years with the SW, I still occasionally move my left foot along to find the gear shift...weird! |

| Welcome!
Ah! The pleasure of not having to shift will give you at least 50 more years of riding. Enjoy! |

| Welcome, it's something you catch on to real quick when you squeeze that left hand lever with the thought it's a clutch that and the coasting when the RPM's drop below 2000. That said everything else comes very naturally. |

| Welcome. Takes a little getting used to that left lever not being the clutch. Twist and go throttle is nice won't take long to be riding with confidence. Enjoy new bike. |

| I got myself my 2005 SWing and missed the shifting on my 750 ACE! So, I got myself a VT 1100 which I found to be a beast to move around the driveway. I sold it before I did serious damage to myself or it. Now I have my 2007 SWing ( love it ), but! dang ! do I still miss the shifting ? Yep, I do. Now on the hunt for a 500 or 600cc. My first bike was a VLX 600; might get one if the price is right.
