| The prolem I'm having is that my throttle grip is loose. It actually slides side to side about an 1/8". Not a huge problem; but a little un-nerving when riding. My fix was to unscrew the handle bar weight and slide a washer there and replace the weight and end screw. However I didn't find the washer that I need at the big box fix it store, so I slid a keychain ring in there and it seems to have taken up the slack.
Has anyone else experienced this? |

| Kenny,
Both of our SilverWings have a bit of side to side movement of the throttle grip. I don't know exactly how much, but I've noticed it on other bikes as well.
It doesn't concern me too much. |

| That movement is there so the throttle won't get stuck and not return to idle. Don't take up too much of the movement. It has never bothered me. MaxB |

| I knew there must have been an actual reason I wasn't too worried about that free play. |
