Greetings from Northwest Arkansas!

My name is Rachel, and I have just been given the 2006 Honda Silver Wing that belonged to a very close friend who passed away a short time ago. The bike is in great condition and has a little over 12,000 miles on it.

I would like to have a manual for it, and also to know how to start it!

You can down load a copy of the owners manual on this thread:

1. Place scooter on center stand. The side stand needs to be up to start the scooter.

2. Turn key to ON position.

3. Squees left brake handle firmly and hold it in.

4. Press starter button (don't give it any gas)
If scooter wont start, check the emergency switch (the red rocker switch just above the starter button.

Dennis, thanks a lot for your welcome, and the link to the owner's manual! I was holding the wrong brake handle when trying to get started... ha ha ha. Anyway, my friend's wife was able to get it started once we read the directions! I was concerned about the battery perhaps being drained since the bike hasn't been driven in a couple of months.
