I can now vouch for the quality of the plastic in the rear of the Silverwing. Yesterday I rolled my bike back out of my garage and turned the handlebars to the left. The bike rolls out briskly due to the slope of the driveway so when it swung back to the left and hit my car it was a solid jolt. The bike went down on it's side and the car's front right fender had a deep dent. $950 of a dent in fact. The SW on the other hand had a very slight scratch on the celar plastic of the left rear tail light. I'm surprised the plastic wasn't melted and blistered due some of the words that were involved in my stupidity. I'm still surprised that the scooter didn't get any damage at all and still did so much to the car. That car must be made of tinfoil.

exavid,

What was the bad news again? Oh yeah your SilverWing removed the cage as a ride option when the cage goes to the shop.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, at least you weren't hurt and the SilverWing wasn't badly damaged.
