| My S'wing doesn't have the screen that goes inside the oil drain hole. Anyone happen to have one lying around that you don't need? |

| Hey Dennis,
Thanks for the link. I know I can get this online, and it's pretty inexpensive. I was just wondering if I could somehow avoid the $15-16 freight charge on a $4 item.
Maybe not, in the end. |

| Mr Cycles has it for $5.93 plus $9.95 shipping. I don't know why it costs almost $10 to ship an item that weight 2 ounces. Big rip off. |

| Thanks Thom,
maybe I'll ask them to send it by USPS for half that shipping price. Almost every one wants to use UPS of Fedex, even for very small items, when the postal service would be much less. I'll see what they say. |

I'm doing my oil change and didn't know which way the screen went - it all fell out.... This link is a life saver with it's picture. Thanks! |

| Ishkatan, You might want to double check that the screen is not inside the motor. I've read where others couldn't find it and it had not come out. I doubt this is your problem, but a good reminder to less experienced mechanics like myself. |

| I have given up trying to slowly take the cap/screen/spring off so it all doesn't go flying into the oil drain pan. It all needs cleaning off anyways, so I just let it all drop into the pan. That way, I won't get hot oil all over my neoprene gloves. Even with gloves on, that oil can be burning hot if drained after a long ride. |

| The screen came right out... I had it in right from the last change, but forgot the orientation. I does not go into the nice hole in the motor but sticks down into the spring so if put in correctly should drop right out with the spring.
One thing to watch out for though - make sure you have the O ring. Mine stuck to the motor but could have gone into the oil and been lost. |

| For me, answer is simple, use nearest Honda dealer, in this case the part is cheap.
They need the business to stay in business----if dealer few miles away, call, pay with credit card ask him to mail. |

Do you think Matthew still needs an oil screen? His post was over 2 years old! |
