I see that a lot of people recommend the Givi Air-Flow windscreen. I have one on my Piaggio MP3 and really don't like it that much. I get a lot of buffering and the narrow upper screen doesn't seem to block much wind off my shoulders.

Does anyone have any experience with other windscreens? Was looking at the Cee Bailey as I've heard good things about them.

Based on lots of money wasted on SilverWing windshields, the Givi adjustable AirFlow is the only one that works, providing reasonable wind/buffeting control and allows you to look over.

Maxi scooters have basic design problem......your nose it too far from tip of shield!

I second that: the adjustable Givi screen is very, very good.

I agree about the Givi narrow upper screen / buffeting. A Clearview wind screen gives excellent protection, both upper body and hands. Probably cheaper than a Givi as well.

First, comment on Clearview-----unless you have had one, hard to know. I actually bought one for my first SilverWing----nice coverage, height hard to decide on, not as comfortable to ride behind for hours on end as the GIVI adjustable.

Dunno Mr Grinsel, I had a Clearview on my '03 SW for most of it's 97000 miles and felt that I had pretty darn good coverage. I've got a Givi Air-Flow now on my '09 and definitely get more head and shoulder buffeting than with the Clearview. But then the Clearview isn't adjustable so the Givi will be better in the heat.

Maybe the Givi for the MP3 isn't designed as well as the one for the Swing. I know I really wasn't happy with it. Looking at prices, the Clearview is only about $30 less than the Givi. May have to go with the Givi since most say it is an excellent shield. Being adjustable is a plus  since it can be a scorcher here in SW FL in the summer and daily rains are common.

Guess if I don't like it I could always sell it here to someone else and try the Clearview.

I like the givi airflow, huge improvement over stock.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Ordered off of eBay the Kappa KAF214 (same as the Givi Air-Flow) from Italy. Will take a month to get here but getting it for only $158 makes the wait worthwhile!

I ordered a Givi topbox from Italy a while back and had no problems. Saved close to $100 on that buy.
