Just traded my Piaggio BV200 for a 2008 Silver Wing!  Love it! I do have some questions though like - How do you set the clock? btw, I've been riding my Piaggio for about 4 years and live in Mississippi on the Gulf Coast.

Hi Kathleen, this is a great forum and you will find all the answers to your questions.
I have set the clock on my 2008 if I remember rightly you have to push both of the rubber buttons together and hold for a few seconds and the hours start to flash set the hour you want and then the minutes.
If you have a hand book it is in there.

Tommo.

To adjust clock on Silverwing

1.Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Press and hold both the MODE button and the RESET button for more than 2 seconds.  The clock will be set in the adjusting  mode with the hour display flashing.
3. To set the hour, press the RESET button until the desired hour and the AM/PM are displayed.  The time is advanced by one hour each time the button is pushed.
4. Press the MODE button.  The minute display will start flashing.
5. To set the minute, press the RESET button until the desired minute is displayed. Setting the minute display will not affect the hour display. The time is advanced by one minute each time the button is displayed.
6. To end the adjustment, press the MODE button or turn the ignition OFF.  The display will stop flashing automatically and the adjustment will be cancelled if a button is not pressed for about 2 minutes.

welcome welcome

Setting the clock:

1. Find the owners manual I put where I wouldn't forget. (Don't get distracted by all those other "lost" items that magically appear.)

2. Go straight to scooter.

3. Set clock, if I remember why I was looking for the manual.

4. Put manual back in "safe" place so I will have it for next year's time change.

Or follow Bicyclenut's very helpful suggestions.

MEMO

DST ends next weekend. Guess I better get a head start on looking for that manual!

And why does it have AM and PM in the first place? Just like on some car radio/clocks? If it's bright out and before 12:00 it's AM. After 12:00 it's PM. Same with when it's dark only backwards.

Clear as mud, right?
