Hello from North Florida!

I've been a reflex rider for 35,000 miles worth, and found a deal on an 02 SW and bought it. After having it in the shop for 2 months waiting on the 3 recalls to be done (original owner never had this done) and having the fuel pressure regulator replaced (bike sat for 4 years, the diaphram inside this rotted) I got it back and absolutely love it!

I bought a givi windscreen for it, (I use the d210 on the reflex) and boy is it huge!

The SW is everything I was wishing the reflex was and then some!

I have been watching this forum for a while now in anticipation of getting the bike and participating in the group.

Hey Gary,

When you said "stay turned". Does that mean both left and right or a bunch of left turns and then a right? OR.... Turn in a "U" or a complete circle turn. I just don't know!

LOL. Thanks for the warm greet. Man, I tell ya, the SW is a scoot. I really love the reflex, but once you go SW you don't go back?

I'll keep the reflexerator, just cause it gets that 68mpg.

I find myself getting on the SW more though....

So far I like every aspect of it. I knew that I would, I have a reflex and love it too. The SW was everything I liked about the reflex but had some power to it

I have 36,000 now on my reflex, and it runs as good as the day it was brand new. I look forward to 100,000 on the SW ! and maybe 80,000 or so on that little 249cc reflex :_)

On another note: I do have one of those right hand pockets left. It is however from a 2005 and is Titanium colored.

I wonder if I can use my lid on the inside of it? Is it the newer styled one or the older, like my 2002 is?

Of course what's wrong with mine is the little clips. I took the spring out so it would stay "shut", lol.

Several in my group switched from the Reflex or Helix to the Silverwing and there is just no going back. This bike is really great...enjoy!
