| Any tricks to installing grip puppies, I installed them today and it was a pain twisting them on anybody trim the excess on the throttle end or leave them alone? |

Exactly what I did. Soapy water works like a dream. I did trim about 1/4 - 1/2" as they come 5" which is too long for SW grips. As far as trimming goes, be a little on a conservative side as grip puppies do compress a little. Oh, and I used regular scisors for cutting them down. Thanks. |

| Or try DennisB's idea and buy a $1.50 (+/-) length (6') of foam pipe insulation from any hardware store. This'll give you several replacements of grip "puppies" for next to nothing. |

| I tried DennisB's homemade foam insulation grips and found that, while they are a good, cheap remedy for some of you "big-fisted" folks out there, that they simply made a grip that was too fat for my short stubby hands and fingers. Think I'll try the Grip Puppies that have a wall thickness of only 0.15 inches. Might be easier for me to grip. |
