| My wife surprised me with a new 2012 Silverwing as an early Christmas present this week. She got her 2009 Swing a couple months ago and was tired of following me on my 150. Its hard to believe we only got our MC endorsments last fall. We're both glad we started small with the 150s to get comfortable riding. I've already gleened a great deal of information in the short time (3 days tops) that I've lurked here. Thanks Scott |

| WELCOME ABOARD Scott!!
Nice… I think I may just be a lump of coal for me this year. Hehehe
It’s great that the two of you both have your endorsements. It’s a great thing to do together. My wife just got her endorsement this spring and I got her a 2005 about a month ago. She has close to a 1000km on it now. I have been driving all my life. I run around with the bigger version… a Goldwing.
Lots to learn here.
Tim.

| I'm liking my new Swing. The first couple of days I was letting it intimadate me (was an adjustment going from 150 weight to the 600), but I'm feeling better. Been going the through the forum and getting great riding tips. Its helped me to get my focus back and go back to the basics, the best being look where I am going and quit worrying about the turn and just execute it.
We just got back from Cycle Gear and we both got jackets and I got pants. Comuting on the scooter will pay for these in a month; I normally drive a F250 (close to $200 a month in diesel and I have less than a ten mile comute.)
I'm glad to be a part of this forum and really appreciate all the knowledge and experiance shared.
