| I just realized that signing into this forum is not the same as introducing yourself. Sorry.
I am 74 years old and have ridden MC's for 40 of those years. I have owned just about everything from a Honda 125 up to 2 GW's. I have been "bikeless" for the 10 years. I started looking about a year ago but the boss (my wife) said I was too old. (ha ha). I really wanted a touring bike (GW) but she said NO rather loudly. I convinced her that a scooter was just to run around town on. (She doesn't know much about Silverwings). I am very happy with my new "Scooter". I have put in excess of 700 miles on it in the first month. (Just running around town). This is a great forum. One of the best I have ever come across. Thanks for letting me be part of it. |

| Welcome Mike,
Bob and I got into McKinney Sunday evening. We have friends who live in McKinney. Few blocks from McKinney North High School near Wilmeth and Community. We are in San Antonio now going back to McKinney tomorrow.
Bob and I went out today and rode The Three Sisters in Hill Country aka Twisted Sisters. Was a nice ride. Rode about 300 miles today.
Hi Yo, got 4 miles away from our motel and got drenched. CathyN the rainmaker is in Texas bringing you all some rain. Let me know when you stop laughing. I will call you when we get back to McKinney.

:laughter-1: Laughing with you, not at you. The farmers do appreciate the precipitation. I think your remark about riding from Chicago to McKinney in beautiful weather upset the rain gods. They suckered you in and will get you on the way back.
