PostSubject: SW Service Manual   Wed Jun 24, 2009 2:01 pm

I just purchased Sevice Manual for 2002 - 2007 Silver Wing. I actually have '08 but the price was so good I just could not resist. Are there any differences between '02 - '07 and '08? Was I seriously wrong for buying this manual? Thank you.

Miro,

I think that you should be fine from a maintenance task performance perspective. The changes from '07 to '08 are most likely very few if at all. The differences from a model older than '07 should be indicated in the manual. The book you purchased should be fine for any maintenance / repair activity in which you engage.

There is a bigger variance in the parts manual. Most obvious is the part numbers change based on paint codes. But there are other challenges when ordering parts.

Got my manual yesterday. It appears to be new. I paid $20 + $8 for shipping. Thanks.
