looking for a silverwing

Hello to everyone. I am new to this site and am looking for some helpful information. I am looking to buy my first silverwing, so is one year better than another? Is there a special year I need to avoid? I have been reading this forum for awhile and am trying to grasp the concept of the upgrades you all have done to your silverwings. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Jose, welcome to the forum. Most folks like the model years with ABS, for safety reasons. Other than that, the bike has not changed very much over the years. Unless you like to catch air from a bike, the Silverwing should not be a let down. It is as dependable as a bike can get, but it does require some basic service now and again. Enjoy the ride when it happens for you!

Hello to everyone. I picked up my silverwing yesterday. It is an 2007 with 2100 miles on the clock. It isn't the ABS model but the price was right. I'll keep you up to date on mods as we go along. Ride safe brothers.
