I had a plan!

Today was designated a clean the 'Wing' day.

OK, that was the plan.

What actually happened was I sat all day in the local hospitals EMU, (Emergency Medical Unit) whilst my wife was getting excellent service from our great National Health Service.

She has had breathing probs for a few days and after checking the 'Wings' service manual I decided she really needed to see a medical professional. If she had an 'FI' lamp it would have been illuminated.

Long story short, she's kinda fine, on meds and at home that's the main thing.

My Silver Wing however is filthy. Bug splattered and in dire need of a good clean.

Tomorrow!

Sorry to hear that, Doug - the wife, not the dirty bike!

I had my four days in hospital last year because of my lungs.
I wish her well - very soon at that - and hope you don't get too anxious.

Oh, the bikes a clean bike now! Polished and plastic gleaming. That's the 2012 clean over. Roll on next year!!

Glad the wife is doing better. I cleaned my bike last weekend. It sure needed it. I decided to clean it after Bob put the new fender on.

Glad to hear the wifey is feeling better. And if she is feeling better...just tell her to go out and clean your bike. Then you can tell us just how good your health care is after you are hauled off to the hospital with multiple injuries. lol

The Health Service doesn't take kindly to self inflicted injuries!

Im glade to here that she is felling better. My wife and I Have been going through a ruff week.I try to keep busy to keep from falling apart. Tuesday my son Allain,37 yrs old had a brain anurizam in the front part of his brain.He was rush from Timmins hospital by air ambulance to Toronto west hospital 450 miles away where the doctors put a coil through his groin and placed it in his brain to repair the artery.So far he is doing well . there is a chance of a sroak or a heart attack in the first 7 to 10 days . The doctor said that everything went well .His memory has not been affected . My wife and family are there with him.to give him comfort and support.I had to stay at home so I try to keep myself busy.

You and your family are in my prayers. My brother had a brain aneurysm about 5 years ago. The doctors said it was miracle he survived. He was back on the Fire Dept. driving the engine six months later. He officially retired two weeks ago. Hang in there.

Thank you for the encouraging words . The doctor told him that he might be able to go back to work in a few week if it goes well .He is a core driller in the mines and he did not know if he could go back to work . We are hoping for best.He is my riding buddy.
