Which is a polite way of say "I had my a&*e felt today". I noticed last night that my rear brake lever wasn't illuminating the brake lights. Investigated this morning and it is the switch that is faulty. Generic part so down to my local Honda dealer. Ordered one which will be here tomorrow. I should have been sat down when he told me the price - £40 . The non generic front one I replaced a couple of months ago was £5. Bit the bullet and stumped up the money - the kids can go without food for a couple more days! Cheers,

I will never take my bike to a dealer for any reason. I was a car mechanic for years working in both dealers and private shops. The only reason to call them is to check on prices comparisons and then end up saying good by. and read this forum before doing anything on your scooter

Didn't take my scooter to the dealer. That is the price for the part alone! Honda part so dealer is the only place to get it. Note to all - If the same part is available cheaper elsewhere please don't post the information here, I'm p**sed off enough as it is! Cheers
