| I'm trying to change Bergman to Burgman under my name and I forgot how to do that. It does seem like we are having a contest to see how far off burgman can be mis-spelled |

| Question: Are our bikes spelled Silver Wing or Silverwing and are they to be abbreviated Swing or SWing or S-Wing ? |

| All I care about is that we don't call ourselves Swingers. People might think we only ride to swap spouses.
S-Wing sounds like a cool new Star Wars fighter.
I was just came back from a short drive...saw three boigmans.

| Hi All,
My preference goes with "SWing" just like GaryL... just as a matter of note though... I went to an ALR (American Legion Riders) event on 9 - 11 and just happened to come across only the 2nd maxi-scooter I've seen around here in some three years. Was black like my SWing but had been "triked" by an outfit called "TrikeIt", or some such thing as that. Looked really good and was ridden by an old veteran who needed the 3 wheels because of some back problems.
Anyway, thought I'd register my spelling for Burgs as "Brrrrrrgman". |

| On the bike it's "Silver Wing", so technically that's what we should be using as the full name. However, I've seen it spelled "Silverwing" quite often in various online forums, etc. I pretty sure that I switch back and forth when I type it, which is an obvious sign that dementia is setting in. The abbreviation I prefer is "SWing", and I've seen that used in some forums. Of course, I've seen about a dozen other different abbreviations and they all looked fine to me. I figure as long as the other person knows what you're referring to it must be good.
BTW DickO, "Brrrrrrgman" made me laugh out loud. I have to admit that until this thread I wasn't sure which way it is actually supposed to be spelled. Actually, I'm still not sure. That dementia is acting up again. What did you say your name was? |

| Why don't we make it easy on ourselves and just call em burgers? _________________ I ride on two wheels cause I feel very unsafe on one wheel.Dan in Miami. The king of custom!
