| Welcome Budrhea, There was a post on this forum a few months back about somone adding Silverwing and Honda decals to their scoot to dress it up and let the world know that it was a 600cc machine, not some wimpy other scoot. It contained a source for all of the decals and stickers. Someone else might be able to point you right to it, but it is out there somewhere. |

| http://chromelettersandnumbers.com/italicchrome.html will provide you with your choice of nice letters/numbers.
Or you can go here: http://www.micromark.com/SearchResult.aspx?deptIdFilter=0&searchPhrase=decal+paper and pick up some decal paper and print your own decals on any inkjet printer.

| Welcome Budrhea I too know how you feel about both your SWing and your B400 (another great bike to be sure). What year is your Silverwing? As you've seen from the replies above, there is much info here to help you. I'm surprised that your bike didn't have the original Silverwing lettering (if I understand you right). If that's what you meant, then from the fiche on cheapcycleparts.com I've found that the lettering only comes with the actual side covers but not sold as another separate part number. I'm not sure of any motorcycle salvage yards in your neck of the woods but you can find one like this and take the lettering from it and have extra panels if you need them: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Honda-Silverwing-FJS600-Scooter-Screen-Side-Panels-etc-/260809638140?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item3cb97740fc#ht_3818wt_881 Not a bad deal for that many parts I might add. I just went to my local auto parts store and got small chrome sticky numbers for 600 and put them under the Silver Wing lettering so that people can see the cc's. The ones in the thread link model28a gave look great on the front cowling too. Also you can get Honda Wing decals here: http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=honda+silver+wing&_sacat=See-All-Categories |

| Welcome Budrhea, a great site with loads of great folk that help out a lot.
I also am confused over the 'Silver Wing' name requirement. My thoughts are the panels are replacements and they came without them on!!! Just guessing!
Enjoy the site.
I also moved from the Burger 400 to the 'Wing'. |

| Hello mate, There's another member on here from Bolton, he's called Old Limey and he's retired. From reading his posts he likes to ride most days, and enjoys going to places like Hawes, and Glasson Dock. He's also 4th on the Famous People from Bolton list, after Nat Lofthouse, Peter Kay, and er,... Vernon Kay. Meldrew

| The plastic/chrome name-badges on the X9s are extras and have to be ordered when replacing panels. _________________ Mike - Riding on the right - riding for pleasure!

| budrhea, Did you ever find the lettering? Because this came up. It seems I was wrong about not being able to buy these without getting the whole side panel. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HONDA-SILVERWING-SCOOTER-FSC600-FACTORY-CHROME-LOGO-DECAL-BADGES-674-/220855959828?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item336c0a8114#ht_500wt_698 |
