| Just got back from quick 1500 mile trip to MO----near Joplin.
Heavy Winds NT maybe better
Comfort in the Boiler that is the south----SilverWing is probably more comfortable.
Pushing bike around and doing U turns on dirt roads---Nature Breaks---SilverWing.
Air Management---jury is still out----one secret go slower regardless of bike.
Seat---NT I sit on the jewels, SilverWing not. Although NT has very little engine heat coming on you-----SilverWing is better in 90 degree weather.
Rain---both ok.
605 miles first day----NT caused no body pain, hands tired.....but I am used to riding everyday---comfortable or I at 72 would have been dead.
I have been doing this 56 years, but you learn on every trip:
Mesh jackets suck when really hot or cold!
So hot---2 pr of boots required in South, change out each day. Sweating in the same boots after 3 days makes them uncomfortable.
I went back to hold habit of bib overalls----great when hot and work fine in cold, too.
One clean bathroom on return trip, Wendys near Nashville.

| I ride both all the time. Each has positive and negatives. I will probably trade the NT when the Silverwing gets a decent upgrade. Still working on the ergos of the NT. According to ergos on line, even with the MCL riser I am at a 20 degree lean. Too much. |

The highlight of your report for me, as the NT 700 is not available in Canada. Thank you. |

| Like to comment on "forward lean" That is exactly why NT is comfortable.
Bar Risers put you farther back from shield===buffeting.
Sitting upright=back pain.
Cruisers are very unfortable because of the high bars/feet forward.
SilverWing is/was the most comfortable feet forward scooter I have owned.

| No forward lean is why the Silverwing is comfortable. Ergos show me at zero degrees lean. I can ride the Swing for hours without discomfort. The NT gives me discomfort after 30 minutes. If lean is where it's most comfortable, we'd all be on sport bikes. |

See my post today on the "Mid Concept" that seems to be a reality. This bike ought to combine all the good bits of both the SilverWing AND the VT-700 (Deauville).

I would say more of the DN-01 than the VT700. I like it.

| I looked at an NT when I considered downsizing a bit from my Goldwing but after sitting on the NT decided the GW is definitely the long distance bike for me. The SW is the best for local riding. |
