| The Iridium plugs last a very long time, likely 50k miles in a Swing. The plugs should be pre-gapped correctly. If not, bend only the side electrode. Never touch the thin centre electrode. |

I replaced my regular NGK plugs twice at about 9,000 miles.
I have 42,000 miles on my NGK Iridium plug now._________________ Bill - Georgetown TX 07 Silver Wing ABS Clearview w/vent, Givi E96/TB19/E52 with Admore Lighting, Alaskan Leather, Wrist Rests, 3M Solas tape, K&N air, Hyperpro spring, Grip Puppies, Airhawk, Utopia backrest, Stebel, Apexcone HIDs, StingerZ LEDs (w/Backoff WigWag), Knight Rider Sequential LED, NGK Iridium, Power Commander III, Manic Salamander, Saeng mirrors, Garmin Zumo 660, Dark-Side Sumitomo Tire |

I replace my NGK Iridium spark plugs at 53,550 miles.
The spark plug gap definitely increased, if I get a chance I will measure later)
The RPM idle speed jumped by ~300 RPM ( just changing the spark plugs ), bringing me back to normal RPM range. I did not want to adjust the RPMs till I replaced the spark plugs.
Based on the results I observed, I will replace my NGK Iridium spark plugs in the 40,000 - 45,000 miles ranges next time to determine the optimal NGK Iridium lifetime._________________ Bill - Georgetown TX 07 Silver Wing ABS Clearview w/vent, Givi E96/TB19/E52 with Admore Lighting, Alaskan Leather, Wrist Rests, 3M Solas tape, K&N air, Hyperpro spring, Grip Puppies, Airhawk, Utopia backrest, Stebel, Apexcone HIDs, StingerZ LEDs (w/Backoff WigWag), Knight Rider Sequential LED, NGK Iridium, Power Commander III, Manic Salamander, Saeng mirrors, Garmin Zumo 660, Dark-Side Sumitomo Tire |

| Vmaximus, I changed to Iridium plugs at 8,000mls service(Iridium plugs were same price as NGK ordinary plugs) at 16,000mls i checked them and they were okay. Performance wise, no difference that i could comment on. However, as people are saying you get 50,000ml + out of them why not fit them? |

| If you look at Honda cars fitted with iridium plugs, they quote 75000 miles before changing them. For an extra few pounds (proper money) it can't be a bad deal. |
