| My V-light has never came on except when I start up.I did not change my belt till a little over 22,000mi..Yesterday my V-light came on at 22,685.I reset it and I will be interested to see when it comes on next.I have had the bike since 168mi.on the odometer and the V-light never come on at 16,000 as the book it should have.???  |

| I had an '03 that I bought new from dealer. Rode it for 2yrs and put about 35k mi. on it without ever changing belt (or even checking it) and light never came on. |
