PostSubject: J-Costa Pins - Diffrent weights?   Fri Apr 08, 2011 9:14 am

I took the J-Costa out of my scooter a few months ago and went back to the stock roller set-up. The J-Costa pins and drive plate wore down and my gas milage went to crap. I was just wondering if anyone has tried a diffrent weight of pins in the J-Costa? sunny

AFAIK, there is only one weight available from Matt at Scootertrap.
I checked at the European J. Costa website and they also only list one weight, that being 13.5 grams.
Here's the link:

Does J. Costa actually make another weight of pin for their Swing600 variator?

At the time I was only getting 38-40 MPG (that's US gallons) with J-Costa installed. I just wore the poor thing out going everywhere at top speed, all the time, here in Oklahoma.

BB,

I was looking on a sight, I think in Germany, that had different weight pins for the J-Costa. That was a while ago.

Here's a site that has a few different weights of pins for the J-Costa. They do make them. Now as far as over all dimenstions????
