| Greetings New owner here, picked up new red 09 SW from Cowboy Honda yesterday. Been looking at SW for 3-4 years, finally got one. Seems to be a nice ride, will use it for shorter 1 up rides in local area. Havent had a scooter for 50 years, last one was a Cushman eagle. With $5 gas coming up, better MPG will help. Am in Austin, Tx area, where we ride year round. |

Welcome. Once you try that Swing out on the highway I'm sure you won't be limiting yourself to local jaunts. The Swing really shines once it stretches its legs out on the open road. There are many mods and customizations you can do to the Swing to make it perform even better and be more comfortable. |

| Texas Winger,
Welcome to the Forum. I bought a new '09 last year and love it. I want to add my comments to those who said that it is much more than an arouind town scoot. I've made one 600 mile trip, and quite a few 300 milers, and it just purrs right along. |

Agree, SWing should be fine on longer rides too. Wife prefers the ride on our 09 Goldwing trike (Champion IRS conv). Gotta keep her happy too. |
