PostSubject: Rotating color sidelights   Tue Jan 25, 2011 6:33 am

Hi all,
Many of you have asked where you can get the small LEDs that I have in my side lights that rotate colors.

My original source is gone, but it appears that this product will do the same thing if anyone is interested in doing a similar mod.
http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/index.cgi?action=DispPage&Page2Disp=%2Fspecs%2FLW-RGB.htm

Just pull your headlight, and if your headlight isn't predrilled for lighting (USA version) that just drill carefully in from the back where the nipple marks are on the back of the headlight, and you will get right into those sidelight compartments.

Then you can install these babies and wire em up. Remember they may not be legal to ride with, but they sure look cool when parked at a meet, and require very low power (35ma). At about $10 for the pair of lights + shipping its a low-cost very cool mod.

You can see some pics of mine in the link in my sig.
