PostSubject: Vario Screen   Thu Sep 23, 2010 10:44 pm

I have been waiting a few weeks for a Givi AF 214 Airflow screen but it seems, after being told two or three times by dealer that it is on its way, that they are just not readily available so I am seriously considering ordering an MRA Vario screen instead.

I was very pleased with the performance of the Vario screen on my Kawasaki ER6F which I bought from HPS in England.

I checked the HPS web site and found that there is a Vario available for the Silverwing at around two thirds of the cost of the Airflow.

I would be interested to find out if anyone has already fitted a Vario screen and how it performs relative to the stock screen.

I'm very surprised to hear that; several UK sites list them as being 'in stock'.

I'm not sure if this screen is available for those of us in the states, but here is a link to the UK site: http://www.bikehps.com/acatalog/Vario_Touring_Screens_for_Honda.html

Looks like Twisted Throttle has the "lip like" structure available as a seperate kit. The SilverWing is not listed in the applicable model list.
