| A big hello to everyone from So. Maryland. Like everyone else here I been lurking for a little while. And now I am the proud owner of a 07' Swing. Lurking around here caused me to go and test ride one. And what happens next...I come home with it!!! I hope you all are proud of yourselves. You all made me do this...LOL... I just wanted a test ride to see what you all were so happy about. 35 yrs. of riding a Goldwing, a few Harley's and last but not least a BMW. All gone now. For a SILVER WING!!!! LOL... What just happened???
Question for all the riders here that came off riding motorcycles for many years. "Is this what happened to you too?" I've put 1000 miles on this Swing in the last 2 weeks and the more I ride this the more I love it!! My wife cannot believe I'm riding a SCOOOOTERRRR!!! She now calls me "Scooter Boy" (laughing with me). She has told me for years that when I die she was just going to glue me to the seat of my bike and put me in the ground. No casket...Ride out of this world... Since I've been with her she alway's tells me "you are sooo bad" "one of these day's the devil is going to get you" Well I think I'm safe now because I can still be bad and when I leave this earth and I'm riding my Scooooter to the front gates of Hell with the Devil standind there(laughing his a$$ off) saying to me "YOU ARE NOT COMING IN HERE ON THAT THING. JUST TURN YOUR A$$ AROUND AND GO BACK UP THAT WAY..." What do ya think? Am I safe? I was very lucky. The dealership I went to had both a Swing and Burgman. Got two nice long tast rides.Well we know how that one ended. Great Deal too... 07' Swing..5200 miles.. CeeBailey's large windsheild,Givi Trunk and some nice grips..Very clean.. $4425.00 otd. No taxes/out of state dealer.
Thanks, Rider |

| Welcome on, here's praying it'll be at least another hundred years of riding before God and Satan have a discussion as to where you wind up. Never thought about it but if you go to heaven you'll be riding on streets of gold, if you go to h*** you'll be riding on two flats top speed of 5mph on a straight endless ramp too no where. Craig |

| Rider,
Welcome to the forum and hope you enjoy it. Post a pic sometime and if you do your own work check out the "pictorial" section. Many members have posted how to do maintenance and it will save you money too. _________________ Ride safe, JeffR 2007 Silver Wing (30,000 miles) 2005 Majesty 400 (sold 12,500 miles) 2004 Reflex (sold 3,500 miles) Givi Windshield, top case, vista cruise, power commander, dr pulley sliders, air hawk seat pad, (J. | Hi Rider! I got hooked on the SW after riding a Burgman 650 awhile back. I still have a nice Goldwing for longer distance stuff but the SW is my town and errand bike. Really handy in town and traffic and the parking lots. I figure you can't go wrong with two sizes of 'Wing! |

| Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. I've already learned much reading back on this and other forums. Sooo much good info... Funny thing for me is after all these years I was getting tired of shifting and really didn't want another big bike. I have always looked back & do miss my 96' Wing. That 1500 was a great bike but just didn't desire something that big anymore. Is that old age coming in?? As for my last Harley. (Classic) To me it rode like a dump truck. Didn't like it at all. 2yrs, 35k on it & lots of money in the motor & still like a truck. .
Being a year round rider the Swing seem to have everything I wanted. AUTOMATIC!! Damn is this thing a blast to ride!! I love the back roads and I can just flick this thing around with ease.. SMOOOTH... Almost like feeling like a kid again with a new toy.
Having had the chance to ride the Burgman & Swing on the same day worked out good. The Burgman is a great scoot but I do like to do my own services. The Swing is just so much easier to take care of. Been there done that with all the bells & whistles...JUST MORE THING TO GO WRONG...Been out on the road & have my bike go down because of small bell or whistle. Not again..I always loved how simple the Honda's are...I'm going to ride it for a while before I see if I want to up grade that beautiful motor. Seems nice the way it is!!! (for now..lol..)
I did add a backrest.. NICE!!
OK... One more time..."I can't believe I'm riding a Scooter." LOL...LOL... (Had to get that out)
