10,500 miles later, hate to see it go but ever since I got the 650r ninja I only use the SW on long range rides otherwise it sits in the garage. $3000 asking price, is that good, also I only have liabilty on it , should I get full coverage before selling it?

If the scoot's in good condition, $3000 is a great price. I wouldn't budge.
I don't understand the need to up your insurance for the purpose of selling?

Make sure they leave the keys to their BMW with you while they are gone... I agree that is a GREAT price. I would suggest you could bump it up to 3500 and you still have a great price, if it is in great shape otherwise. No major scratches,good tires and every thing works... 10,000 miles is not a lot of miles. That would give you some wiggle room on selling it. If i had not just bought mine already, I would be interested in looking at it and I would have jumped at a price of $3500 unless it was really scratched up or something. The Silverwing is a great piece of machinery.

If I don't get any offers for a week I will keep it
