Hi

I shall be taking delivery of a blue Silverwing 600 in just over a week' time. I've previously had two Piaggio x9s (250 & 500) and a Piaggio mp3 400 (one of those 3-wheeled things!).

I live just outside of Stamford, Lincs. I have been a member of the x9 Owners & Riders Club since its conception in 2002 and I know that a couple of the guys on this site also belong.

I'm hoping to be an active member of this forum and look forward to the chat.

Hello, Laurie, and welcome from the Belgian 'Former X9 Owner but now I have a Silverwing' Club!

Lots of friendly people here and masses of helpful information; in fact it's just like the X9OC.

Hi Laurie, Welcome.
I think you will find, Like me, that this site is very friendly and has more "tech" stuff than most others. Good information on mods and just regular "how to" stuff.
they are always helpful to anyone with a problem. And can usually get them running or pointed in the right direction. Saying that, the "Swing" is a very reliable and competent machine. Capable of city and cross country riding.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Being a 'non-techie' ('cos I'm a female!!), I'll just have to make a note of all the mods, etc so that my dealer can have a play. Expensive, I know, but what else can I do?!!

Laurie,

Welcome to the site and hope you enjoy it. If you have any questions or problems just ask, someone here probably knows the answer. There is also a "Pictorial" section with many different instructions on how to do things that members have submitted. So that will help with saving money to do some things yourself. Post a pic or 2 when you get a chance.
