Hello All,

Looking to buy an FJS600 in the very near future so will probably be asking questions and picking brains.
Present scooter is a Suzuki Burgman AN400K7 which I will be keeping even if I buy a Silverwing. I also own a Yamaha Virago 535 and a Honda VFR400R (but that got economically written off after an argument with the tarmac!)

Cheers,

Welcome and howdy from Texas. Truly this forum can give you a lot of information. This old dog has learned some new tricks by reading old posts. It's much easier to learn from other's mistakes and rewarding to read about their triumphs.

A few members of my 'other' maxi-scooter club live in your area and arrange rideouts quite regularly.
I can put you in touch if you fancy it.

Hello from the sunny south coast. (UK).

I rode a K4 Burgman before changing to the SW. No regrets.

tarmacburner2,

Welcome to the site and hope you enjoy it. If you get a chance please create your own file in the "Albums" section and post pics of your bikes, they don't have to be Silver Wings, and pics of rides you have/will do. There is plenty of space for pics and we would all like to see some. If you have any questions please just ask away. There are quite a few knowledgeable riders on this site so you will get your answer I'm sure. Again, welcome.

MikeO,

If you want to post your site in your "signature" giving your riding club "web address" then please do. That way anyone in England, or going to England, can find some good rides. I don't care if others want to promote their sites here since it's all about riding. We also have many members on this site from England so please post and promote your club here if you want.

Thanks, Jeff. I'll do that now.
I guess you guessed I didn't want just to blazon it here.

This is very much my 'second home' now and very important to me whilst I maintain the very strong and long-standing links with my UK club.
The two are similar in many ways, not least that the UK one was set up as a virtual club-house for riders and I feel that this is the same; we can't all meet face-to-face for a natter but can here.

tarmacburner2,

Welcome to the site, enjoy, post, contribute to the mosh.

MikeO,
Thanks for the discrete approach, but this site is truly as JeffR put it "..all about riding." Rare among scooter sites. The personalities have not fully consumed the purpose of the site. We get close, but seem to do a fair job of self regulation.
