my Silverwing/Corbin Sparrow transplant needs a battery

So The corbin/Silverwing needs a battery, I have ran it with a car battery for a while now but ive been thinking, if i use a car battery can the silverwing put back not only the charge but the correct amps that battery would need. simply put would it be best to put a bike battery back in or use another car battery?

The car runs great without any issue but sometimes after its been stood the battery drops below 12v and the silverwing electrics dont like it and i need to charge it over the 12v to instantly start the car.

this has started me thinking about this issue and thought the guys will/may/hopefully now whats best.

so do i put a bike battery on or just a little car battery.

Buy a good bike battery with the best CCA you can get. I really liked my Lithium-Ion battery when I had my bike. Did you remove the OEM under seat light bulb?

Assuming that the battery is in good order, the fact that the battery looses voltage after sitting seems to indicate that there is a parasitic draw. It might behoove you to do some judicious meter probing to see if you can find what’s drawing down the battery while the beastie is OFF.
