Hi from West Lafayette, Ohio.

I have just purchased a 2007 Silver Wing with 12,000 mile on it and am enjoying it very much.

I have been riding motorcycles since the 1970s. Scooter wise I have owned a 650 Burgman, 400 burgman and now a 2007 Silver Wing. I have done my own maintenance. Cycle wise I have owned several Honda, Harleys and now a 2012 Goldwing that I had CSC trike kit added.

Hello Gary. Welcome to the forum.

You’ll find that the Silverwing is very easy for DIY service. There are lots of folks here who are eager to answer questions and help. And it’s always best to pick up a Factory Service Manual (FSM) from eBay.

It’ll be interesting to hear your take on a Silverwing vs the Burgy 400 & 650 —but please do it in another post so that it doesn’t get lost in your introduction.
