PostSubject: Interesting link concerning BMW Engines & Scoots   Mon Feb 15, 2010 5:00 pm

Found this link on BUSA. There was a rumor over a year ago about BMW purchasing the rights to the Kymco My Road 700 which turned out to be an April Fool's joke. This story talks about the development of a line of V-Twin engines including a 500, 650 and 800 for potential use in Maxi-Scoots. It's always interesting to see what might be on the horizon.

I like the idea of a V-Twin in a scooter. I'd like to see Honda develop this concept for the SilverWing (or its replacement). Seems like the NT700 or DN-01 V-Twin would work with the SilverWing. It's all a wish list at this point, but it's fun to wish.
