Givi AF214 hairline 'crack'?

My GIVI AF214 just arrived. Upon attaching top section, I noticed  a hairline, like a bifocal line, extending from the top and bottom of the two slides and extending to the shield's outer edge. Is this normal?

Just looked at mine-----has line on movable part---lower fixed not. But these windshields are for looking over not thru.

Agreed, John. Hairline upon further look and thought is much too uniform and clean to be a defect. I'm just a bit too fussy sometimes. Love the way the AF214 does its job. Thanks for the input.
